Jessica Tremblay
PG Family Medicine Residency
I aspire to be a family physician with the tools and resources to help my patients in multiple facets of their health. My practice will consist of an interdisciplinary team focused on patient-centered goals of care, addressing their needs on emotional, social, physical and psychological levels. I have a lot of experience in promoting interprofessional endeavours and family medicine; I have learnt that the two are tightly intertwined. Whole person care cannot be accomplished by only one health professional. Collaborative Mental Health is an opportunity to collaborate and discuss with, and learn from, colleagues in multiple domains – all with the goal of enhancing and enriching the interprofessional aspect of mental health for individuals and communities. With better connections between our respective disciplines, we will be able to ensure that our patients/clients receive the most appropriate and effective care they need in the most efficient way.
