MA Counselling Psychology

Hi!  I’m a born and raised Montrealer, and I’m currently in the final year of my master’s degree at McGill in Counseling Psychology.  I have an extensive background working as a research assistant at various labs, and I am interested in participating in research collaborations in the future.  I also have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, and I worked for two years as an applied behavior analysis therapist for children with autism and developmental delays.  I have wanted to become a therapist since I was fourteen years old, and as I have progressed through my degree, it has become clear to me that health care professions often work within a vacuum – separately, and with little communication between the professionals.  I am interested in collaborative mental health care as a vision for the future – a future in which health care professionals work together and capitalize on the strengths of each profession, to maximize the quality of the patient’s care.  I am so excited to be a part of this great initiative!
