My interest in mental healthcare began after shadowing two mentally and physically handicapped men at their home. From a young age, I realized just how important mental healthcare can be. With this realization of mine, I began to consult for a mental health start-up, and finally decided to incorporate this interest into the place where I study, the McGill Management faculty; Desautels. 

 

I created the first-ever student wellness week within the faculty. After being awarded for my work, I am proud to say that this is now a new yearly tradition at Desautels. I want to continue pursuing opportunities within this field of mental health, as well as entrepreneurship and business, and hope to one day start up my own psychological practice in order to help a vast majority of people who are in need.
