MA School/Child Psychology
I believe that interdisciplinary collaboration plays an important role in improving access to and quality of mental health services. Interdisciplinary collaboration will allow us to further our understanding of mental health through the perspectives of different fields, thereby facilitating cooperation amongst different professionals. I hope to learn about research in other fields, and how to advocate for those who need help accessing mental health services. I am currently in the School/Applied Child Psychology program, looking to work in either a school or hospital setting in the future. I am also a member of the Talwar Child Development Research Group, and am investigating children’s lie-telling behaviour from a developmental and legal perspective.
