My name is Amrita Sandhu and I am an undergraduate student studying psychology at McGill University. Joining CMH has been an eye-opening and fulfilling experience and has allowed me to broaden my perspective on mental health and addressing and improving mental health care, as I get to be part of an amazing group full of people from diverse educational backgrounds. I hope to help reduce the stigma associated around common mental health disorders and promote the significance of taking care of your mental health (especially while enrolled in rigorous educational institutions). My interest is particularly in disorders such as anxiety and depression, and I hope to pursue research regarding neurological disorders in my future studies. I highly encourage everyone to get involved with CMH and attend some of the amazing events planned for this year!
